I'm burning the BIOS update to a CD now so I will try and see if that works. I am pushing down and in, and I hear a "click", its sitting hard and thight...I tried both slots. I have also tried to take out the CMOS battery and replacing it with the same result. Why do you want 8GB of RAM? If it does not boot, it is not compatible or just a bad stick of memory. That was the only brand they had in stock. My memory in the Bios is underclocked, at 1514mhz and my processor is OC @ 3.6ghz.
