I have never had problems before, and none of the suggested fixes work. Then select Administrative Templates. so long story short for my problem was even if everything shows the right flash plug-in and default player, don't believe it! Only other thing I did was disable hardware acceleration in FF, but didn't do a browser restart or anything like that so I doubt that was the problem.
