Finally was able to get Windows bootable to see it after swapping the interface from the mboard to SATA0 (1, 2+ should work as well). How do the keys on my keyboard function in Windows? The search is customizable and there's no silly crap like the auto refresh when renaming a file. If I wanted to find something in XP, i typed in the name. Even closing and re-booting still will not recognise the headphone connection yet any other external is okay.

Try this first, then if it doesn't work you can try doing the REGEDIT tip. What do I have to do to just FIND a file? Just start typing and when you finish, Windows will display your search results in the windows on the right side of Windows explorer. Maybe I'm missing something but I can't figure it out and I've been an IT professional for 20 years.
