What can be done about the problem? it keep going missing!when I boot up I have myC drive, WD 640gb (WDF Hp drive)D drive HP_RECOVERY (Partition of C drive)F Drive Data HDD Seagate 500gb (HP Drive)M Drive External Windows boots in UEFI mode but secure boot is off, causes huge headaches with booting Linux and USBs. It just doesn't show in any Windows environment; and any attempt to look for it (such as through a Disk Management program) hangs with a "busy" cursor. my review here
Nothing worse than working on a document and all of a sudden the drive just becomes inaccessible when you try to save it. I decided to skip all that (SeaTools for DOS) and simply RMA the drive. It is as if Windows hasn't been made aware of the drive's presence despite being physically connected. Does it show up there?

My computer stopped recognizing my second internal hdd solved Internal SATA HDD disappear when USB device connecting Loaded Windows 7 on to second internal HDD and it will not recognise MS Warning!
