System Restore Is Not Configurable
He has worked with computers in one form or another since the late 1970s and was an early adopter of Windows since version 1.0 was released in the middle 1980s. Changes made to a volume from another OS (in case of dual-boot OS scenarios) cannot be monitored. System Restore backs up system files of certain extensions (.exe, .dll, etc.) and saves them for later recovery and use. It also backs up the registry and most drivers.
