Unable To Install Windows On New SSD
I am trying a normal format of the drive as if it were a regular hard disk. Topic Starter Posts: 6,000 +15 I've tried both. Is there a way to change the partition from MBR to GPT? Does the processor have on-board video? Source

- absolutely NO drives are detected.

- It might be due to some incorrect configuration in BIOS.

- Went in BIOS and set the SSD as AHCI (or something like that).
- I had a terrible time, and eventually gave up, on cloning over a Win 8 install to another drive a month or two ago.
