May 30, 2009 bill I want to share the HP officejet G series the windows 7 does not have a driver XP does - does other way work somehow? I also found as others have that the Win 7 and the XP machines all have to have Everyone with Full Control in folder share settings and in advanced settings. - I 'shared' the folders on the xp machines, then added the sharesas network drives on the win 7 machine.
- At least that’s how I got it to work.
- Both are in Workgroup.
- Both XP and 7 computers have no problem still pulling the data from the back end in the Shared Documents folder on the host computer, even though the XP computers can't

I installed SP3 on my xp machine. but later when I could not print to the printer connected on XP machine which is connected with my lap through a Netgear router I noticed of missing the network.
