I tried to add PS to the Tools/Folder options/file types/ associate box using the browse, finding the file and selecting it AND the box will not accept my choice. IMO, it was superficial annoying changes like this that gave the greatly improved OS called Vista (now a dirty word) such a bad name. That did it! Click the View tab, and then check the Always show icons, never thumbnails checkbox. Sign me FRUSTRATED!!!

When I rebooted with and tried to boot into Windows 8 with the system boot menu, it crashed. I have plenty of enough tech knowledge to do a dual boot or eliminate your OS completely from my computer but I was hoping not to be forced to. Click OK, and you're done. Some FLVs and AVIs have thumbnails, while some others donít. This was the first post I looked at and it took me less then 30 seconds to get it all straitened up!
I followed your directions for using organize and unchecked the box "show icons only, never thumbnails. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options. I have that method in my photo editor. thanks for guide me..
